Liminal Space: Sarah Theurer Hunt, Convergence, Blind Alley, July 1-14, 2023
In Convergence Theurer Hunt examines the impossibility of fully separating realms of mental
responsibility. The work presents two intersections: a drawing within the space of a tangled,
central assemblage, and a crossing of field recordings from separate environments projecting
outward into the external space. The interior and exterior knotting and overlapping explore
expectations of invisible labor and consider efforts to find space and time within the concursion
of artistic and maternal practices.
